Exam Info

The midterm will be held in-person on Wednesday, March 13th, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM PT. The alternate time exam will start at Thursday, March 14th, 8:00AM PT. Alternate exams will only be offered for documented time conflicts, extenuating circumstances, and religious accommodations.

The final will be held in-person on Tuesday, May 7th, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM PT. The alternate time exam will start at Tuesday, May 7th, 7:00PM PT. Alternate exams will only be offered for documented time conflicts, extenuating circumstances, and religious accomodations.

Final

If you have DSP accommodations or would like to request an adjustment to your exam (such as a left-handed desk, a seat in a specific room, or an alternate exam due to time conflicts), please fill out the final adjustments form by Tuesday, April 30th, 11:59 PM PT. We will respond to all requests submitted before this date by Sunday, May 5th, 11:59 PM PT.

After this point, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate any alteration requests, and requests will be reviewed on a rolling basis. However, if you're feeling unwell or there's an emergency, please email cs61c@ directly.

Alternate and Online Exams

If you have another exam conflict that directly overlaps with the main exam time, we are offering one alternate exam on Tuesday, May 7th, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM PT.

If you have extenuating circumstances and would like to request an online exam, please submit the final adjustments form. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis. The online exam is only available during the main exam time slot.

Final Scope

The final covers the following topics:

  • Lectures 1 through 35
  • Discussions 1 through 13
  • Labs 0 through 7
  • Homeworks 1 through 12
  • Projects 1 through 4

Materials only covered in the textbook are not within scope.

Final Resources

The exam is closed-book, closed-note, closed-internet, with the following exceptions:

  • You can prepare and use up to 2 two-sided letter-sized study sheet for the final. You can reuse your midterm study sheet as one of your two study sheets for the final.
  • Study sheets must be handwritten. Digitally handwritten notes may be printed and used.
    • We will take away any study sheets that do not follow this policy.
  • On the exam, you will be provided with the 61C reference card.
